Course Overview
Communities of Practice in M&E Training Course
Introduction
Communities of Practice (CoPs) have emerged as powerful knowledge-sharing, learning, and innovation ecosystems within Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). As development programs grow more complex and data-driven, organizations increasingly rely on collaborative intelligence, peer learning, and collective sense-making to improve evidence use, adaptive management, and decision-making. This course explores how CoPs strengthen evaluation quality, institutional learning, accountability, and real-time program improvement across sectors.
Communities of Practice in M&E Training Course equips participants with practical frameworks, digital tools, governance models, and facilitation techniques to design, launch, and sustain effective M&E Communities of Practice. Participants will learn how to leverage CoPs for knowledge management, innovation diffusion, evaluation capacity strengthening (ECS), and results-based management (RBM) through real-world case studies from development agencies, NGOs, governments, and donor-funded programs.
