FLNG Technologies and Operations Training Course

Introduction

FLNG Technologies and Operations Training Course is designed to equip participants with the technical knowledge and operational expertise required to plan, design, operate, and maintain Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facilities. This course provides comprehensive insights into FLNG engineering, offshore gas processing, natural gas liquefaction, cryogenic technology, floating facility design, marine systems integration, process safety management, and LNG storage and offloading. Participants will explore the complete FLNG value chain, from offshore gas production and pretreatment to liquefaction, onboard storage, and transfer to LNG carriers. The programme also examines key engineering considerations, including topside integration, hull design, mooring systems, riser technology, dynamic positioning, utility systems, and the application of digital engineering tools to optimize offshore LNG development projects.

Practical case studies and scenario-based exercises will explore FLNG project development, commissioning, startup, process optimization, LNG transfer operations, and troubleshooting of critical equipment. The training also addresses emerging industry priorities such as digital twin technology, automation, remote operations, methane emissions reduction, carbon management, and sustainable offshore gas development. By integrating engineering principles with real-world operational challenges, the course enables participants to make informed technical decisions, improve operational performance, manage offshore risks, and contribute to the successful delivery of FLNG projects in an increasingly competitive and environmentally conscious global energy market.
